Big Sale buying guide
The Sky Build Mart Big Sale is on, and prices are down across the shop, from WPC wall panels to golden foil stickers and UV marble sheets. That is good news if you have a room to finish. It is also the moment when people buy the wrong product, the wrong quantity, or something that will not survive a Karachi monsoon.
- PKR 2,200approx. per 24mm WPC panel
- PKR 3,750approx. per golden foil sticker
- PKR 3,750approx. per grill wall sticker
This guide is written to stop that happening. It explains what is in the sale, what each product is actually good for, how to work out how much you need, what installation involves, and where each product is the wrong choice. If you are a homeowner, a contractor, an interior designer or a shopkeeper fitting out a counter wall, you should be able to finish this article and place a sensible order the same day.
A note on prices: the prices in this article are the sale prices shown in our shop at the time of writing. Prices change, and sale prices end. Always check the product page for the current rate before you order.
What is the Sky Build Mart Big Sale and what is included?
The Big Sale is a store-wide price reduction on Sky Build Mart products, marked with a “Sale!” badge on each product in the Sky Build Mart shop. It covers wall panels, decorative wall stickers and marble-effect sheets, so you can plan a whole room from one order.
The shop is organised into these categories. The number of designs in each gives you a sense of how much choice you have:
- WPC Wall Panels: 22 designs, split into 17mm thickness, 24mm thickness and curved WPC panels.
- Marble Wall Stickers: 26 designs, the largest sticker range.
- Metal Wall Stickers: 15 designs.
- Golden Foil Wall Stickers: 12 designs.
- Soft Stone Wall Stickers: 11 designs.
- UV Marble Sheets: 11 designs.
- Grill Wall Sticker Collection: 4 designs, in gold, silver, charcoal grey and wood finishes.
That is around 100 products in total. Not every design carries the same discount, and stock on popular finishes can run out during a sale. If you have your heart set on one design, order it early rather than waiting for the last week.
How much can you save on WPC panels, stickers and UV sheets in the sale?
At the time of writing, 24mm WPC wall panels were showing at around PKR 2,200 per panel, reduced from a higher regular price. Golden foil wall stickers and grill wall stickers were showing at around PKR 3,750 each, down from PKR 4,000. Prices on the other categories vary by design, so check each product page.
For planning purposes, here is how to think about the sale:
- On a small job, such as one sticker panel behind a sofa, the saving is modest but real. It may cover your adhesive or a trim.
- On a full feature wall of 20 or more WPC panels, a per-panel reduction adds up quickly. A few hundred rupees per panel across 24 panels can be the difference between one wall and two.
- On a commercial job, such as a shop, clinic or office reception, the saving on material is often large enough to change what you can afford to specify.
For context, WPC panel prices from other sellers in Pakistan vary widely, from around PKR 1,000 for thin 9mm panels up to PKR 3,000 or more for branded 160mm series panels. Thickness, width, finish quality and brand all move the price. A cheaper panel is not always a cheaper wall, because thin panels can show every bump in the plaster behind them and may need replacing sooner. Compare like for like: the same thickness, the same width and the same 9.5 ft length.
Prices change, and sale prices end without much warning. Check the product page for current rates before you budget.
What should you buy in the sale if you are only doing one room?
Pick one main material for the wall people look at first, then use cheaper decorative products for the smaller surfaces. For most living rooms and bedrooms in Pakistan, that means WPC panels or a UV marble sheet on the feature wall, and stickers on secondary areas.
Here is a simple way to decide based on the room:
- TV lounge or living room: 24mm WPC wall panels behind the TV give depth and hide cables if you plan the wiring first. A foil or marble sticker can then dress a smaller wall or an alcove.
- Bedroom: WPC panels behind the bed as a headboard wall work well. Warm wood tones such as oak, walnut and cedar suit most bedrooms. Keep the other three walls plain.
- Drawing room for guests: a UV marble sheet feature wall or a golden foil sticker gives the formal, polished look many families want in the room guests see.
- Shop counter or reception: UV marble sheets or WPC panels are hard wearing and easy to wipe. Stickers are fine for areas above hand height.
- Rented flat: stickers are usually the safest choice, because they need no drilling and can be removed. Check with your landlord first, because removal can lift weak paint.
The mistake to avoid is buying a little of everything because it is on sale. Three different materials on three walls rarely look planned. One strong feature wall almost always looks better.
Which is better in the sale: WPC panels, UV marble sheets or wall stickers?
None of them is better in every case. WPC panels give the most depth and durability, UV marble sheets give the most convincing marble look for the money, and wall stickers give the fastest, cheapest change with no mess. Choose based on your wall, your budget and how long you want it to last.
This table compares the main options, including the traditional choices most people weigh them against.
| Feature | WPC wall panels | UV marble sheets | Decorative wall stickers | Paint | Ceramic tiles |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | Wood fibre and plastic composite, shaped into fluted or slatted panels | PVC-based sheet with a printed marble layer and a hard UV-cured gloss coat | Self-adhesive printed PVC or foil film | Emulsion or enamel coat | Fired clay tile fixed with cement or tile adhesive |
| Thickness | 17mm or 24mm at Sky Build Mart | Usually around 2.5mm to 3mm (check product page) | Thin film, under 1mm | None | Usually 8mm to 10mm plus adhesive |
| Look | 3D wood grain, strong shadow lines | Glossy polished marble | Marble, stone, foil, metal or slat prints | Flat colour | Wide range, grout lines visible |
| Installation | Adhesive or battens, one to two days per wall | Adhesive on a flat wall, half a day to a day per wall | Peel and stick, one to three hours | Two to three days including drying | Two to four days, wet and dusty |
| Moisture | Good resistance, not for standing water | Waterproof surface, joints must be sealed | Water resistant surface, fails on damp walls | Peels and blisters on damp walls | Very good, grout needs care |
| Hides wall flaws | Yes, very well | No, gloss shows bumps | No, shows every flaw | No | Partly |
| Main drawback | Higher cost per wall, needs care near heat | Needs a flat wall, can scratch with grit | Shorter life, edges can lift in humidity | Needs repainting, shows marks | Heavy, messy, hard to remove |
| Best for | Feature walls, TV walls, headboards, offices | Drawing rooms, receptions, counters | Quick updates, rentals, small spaces | Whole rooms on a tight budget | Kitchens and bathrooms |
If you are still undecided between the two main products, read our earlier comparison posts on the Sky Build Mart blog, which cover WPC panels in more depth than this sale guide.
Should you choose 17mm, 24mm or curved WPC panels?
Choose 24mm panels if you want deep, dramatic shadow lines on a TV or feature wall. Choose 17mm panels if you want a slimmer profile, a lower cost per wall, or you are short on space. Choose curved panels if you want a soft, rounded fluted look or need to follow a curved surface.
The thickness figure is the depth of the panel from the wall to the front face. That depth decides how much shadow the grooves create, and how far the panel sticks out into the room.
24mm WPC panels
Our 24mm range has 11 designs, mostly slatted wood-grain finishes such as amber walnut, golden oak, honey cedar, ivory pine and frost timber, plus a black slatted panel. The extra depth gives strong vertical shadows, which is why these panels photograph so well behind a TV with LED strip lighting. They also hide uneven plaster better than thinner products. One of our black slatted panels, for example, measures 168mm wide by 24mm deep. Check each product page for the exact width, because width changes how many panels you need.
Browse the full range in 24mm thickness WPC wall panels.
17mm WPC panels
The 17mm WPC wall panels sit closer to the wall. They suit smaller rooms, corridors and bedrooms where a 24mm panel would feel heavy, and places where furniture will stand close against the wall. The shadow lines are softer, so the look is calmer.
Curved WPC panels
The curved WPC wall panels have a rounded, half-pipe style profile rather than flat-topped slats. They give a softer, more modern look and suit reception desks, column wraps, bar fronts and bedroom walls. If you want to wrap a curved counter or column, ask us about the bending radius before you order, because every profile has a limit.
All our WPC panels are 9.5 ft long (2900mm). That covers most Pakistani room heights from floor to ceiling in one piece, which means no horizontal joins across the wall. If your ceiling is higher than 9.5 ft, plan a trim or a cornice at the top rather than joining panels end to end.
How many WPC panels do I need for my wall?
Divide the width of your wall by the width of one panel, round up, then add 5 to 10 percent for cutting and mistakes. Height matters less, because our panels are 9.5 ft long and cover most walls in one piece.
Here is a worked example for a common TV wall:
- Measure the wall width. Say it is 12 ft wide. That is about 3,658mm.
- Check the panel width. Say you choose a 168mm wide panel.
- Divide. 3,658 divided by 168 is 21.8. Round up to 22 panels.
- Add wastage. Add 5 to 10 percent, which is one or two panels. Order 23 or 24 panels.
- Check the height. If the wall is 9.5 ft or less, each panel covers the full height.
At the sale price of around PKR 2,200 per 24mm panel shown at the time of writing, 23 to 24 panels would cost roughly PKR 50,000 to PKR 53,000 for material. That figure does not include adhesive, trims, end caps, LED strips or labour. Prices change, so check the product page for the current rate before you finalise your budget.
A few practical points that save money:
- Measure at three heights. Measure the width near the floor, at waist height and near the ceiling. Older Karachi flats often have walls that are not square. Use the largest figure.
- Subtract large openings only. If a door or window takes up a big part of the wall, you can reduce the count. For small switches and sockets, do not subtract. You still need full panels there.
- Order from one batch. Wood-grain prints can vary slightly between production batches. Order all the panels for one wall in one go, and a spare or two, rather than topping up later.
- Keep one spare. If a panel is damaged in two years, a matching spare is worth more than any discount.
How many UV marble sheets or wall stickers do I need?
For UV marble sheets, divide the wall area by the area of one sheet and round up. A standard 4 ft by 8 ft sheet covers 32 sq ft. For stickers, check the size on the product page and plan whether you want one sticker as a centrepiece or several side by side.
UV marble sheet example
- A drawing room wall measures 10 ft wide by 8 ft high. That is 80 sq ft.
- One 4 ft by 8 ft sheet covers 32 sq ft.
- 80 divided by 32 is 2.5. Round up to 3 sheets.
- If you want the veins to flow in a mirrored or book-matched pattern, you may need an extra sheet to line the pattern up. Ask us before ordering.
Sheet sizes differ between suppliers. Some are 8 ft long and some are longer, which matters if your wall is taller than 8 ft. Check the exact dimensions on the UV marble sheets product pages before you calculate.
Wall sticker example
Many of our feature stickers are designed as a single large panel for the wall behind a sofa or bed, as shown in the room photos on each product page. If you want to cover a wider wall, plan two or three panels side by side and check with us that the pattern repeats cleanly across joins. Some designs are made to join and some are made to stand alone.
Are golden foil and metal wall stickers worth buying?
Yes, if you want a bold, luxury-style accent quickly and your wall is dry and smooth. They are not worth buying for a damp wall, a wall next to a cooking stove, or a surface that gets knocked all day.
The golden foil wall stickers combine a printed background, such as black marble, emerald green or champagne, with metallic gold lines or leaves. Designs in the range include black and gold stone, tropical leaf, palm and abstract flow patterns. The foil catches light at different angles, so they look strongest where there is a lamp or a window to one side rather than straight on.
The metal wall stickers give a brushed or polished metallic look without the weight or cost of real metal sheet. They suit modern interiors, offices and commercial spaces where a hard, clean finish fits.
What to expect honestly:
- They are a finish, not a structure. A sticker takes on the surface below it. Bumps, cracks and flaking paint will show through.
- Foil marks if it is scrubbed. Clean with a soft damp cloth only. No scouring pads, no strong chemical cleaners.
- Heat is the enemy. Do not fit stickers directly behind a stove, next to a heater, or above a UPS or inverter that runs hot.
- They are good value. At around PKR 3,750 each in the sale at the time of writing, a foil sticker costs far less than marble, wallpaper hanging or a painted mural.
What is the difference between marble wall stickers and UV marble sheets?
A marble wall sticker is a thin self-adhesive film that you peel and stick onto a painted wall. A UV marble sheet is a rigid PVC sheet, usually around 3mm thick, that is glued to the wall and gives a much harder, glossier and longer-lasting surface. Stickers are cheaper and quicker. Sheets look and feel closer to real marble.
Both are in the sale, and people often confuse them. Here is how to choose:
- Choose marble wall stickers if you are renting, want a quick change, have a smaller budget, or want to try the marble look before committing. With 26 designs, this is our largest sticker range.
- Choose UV marble sheets if the wall will be touched, cleaned often or seen up close, such as a reception counter, dining area or drawing room feature wall. The UV-cured surface resists scratches and staining much better than film.
One important point: UV marble sheets are high gloss. Gloss shows every ripple in the wall behind it. If your plaster is uneven, the reflection will wobble. Either level the wall first or choose WPC panels, which hide flaws better.
Also note that “UV sheet” is used in Pakistan for two different products. Some UV sheets used for furniture and kitchen cabinets are MDF board with a UV coating. Wall-cladding UV marble sheets are usually PVC-based and waterproof. MDF-based sheets should not be used on walls prone to damp. Check the material on the product page, or ask us.
Are soft stone and grill wall stickers a good choice for a feature wall?
Yes, both work well as feature walls when you want texture without construction. Soft stone stickers give a rough, natural stone look. Grill stickers give a vertical slatted look similar to WPC panels, for less money and less effort, but without the real depth.
Soft stone wall stickers
The soft stone wall stickers suit living rooms, restaurants and cafes where a warm, earthy texture fits. We have a separate detailed guide to this range on our blog, so here we will just say that they are a good sale pick if you like the stone look but cannot take on the weight, cost and mess of real cladding stone.
Grill wall stickers
The grill wall sticker collection reproduces the vertical slat look in four finishes: cream wood grain, light oak wood grain, silver grey and white wood grain. They are self-adhesive, waterproof and lightweight PVC.
Be honest with yourself about the difference. A grill sticker is a flat printed surface. In daylight from the front, it gives the slatted look well. From the side, or under a wall-washer light, it will look flat, because there are no real grooves to cast shadows. If you want the shadow effect, especially with LED strip lighting, buy WPC panels. If you want the look at lower cost in a room lit from the front, the grill sticker is a sensible choice.
Will these products cope with Karachi humidity, heat and monsoon damp?
WPC panels and UV marble sheets handle humidity well, because their surfaces do not absorb water the way wood, paint and wallpaper do. Stickers handle humid air but not damp walls. None of these products will fix a wall that has seepage, and all of them will fail if you fit them over one.
Karachi’s air is humid for much of the year because it sits on the coast, and the monsoon rains, usually from July to September, push moisture into walls that are already weak. Summer temperatures often go above 35°C. Lahore and Islamabad are drier for much of the year but get heavy monsoon rain too, and Lahore’s summer heat is severe. These conditions are why wood panelling warps and why paint and wallpaper blister in many Pakistani homes.
Here is what that means for each product:
- WPC panels: the plastic in the composite resists moisture, and the panels do not rot or attract termites the way solid wood does. Cut ends can take in a little moisture over time, so seal them or cover them with trims. Leave a small gap of a few millimetres at the floor and ceiling so the panel can expand in heat.
- UV marble sheets: the PVC-based type is waterproof. The weak points are the joints and edges. Seal them properly, especially in kitchens and near bathrooms.
- Stickers: the film itself resists water. The adhesive does not like damp, dusty or freshly painted walls. In very humid months, edges can lift if the wall was not clean and dry when the sticker went on.
Check your wall before you buy
Do this test before ordering anything in the sale:
- Look for white salt marks, bubbling paint or a dark tide line near the floor. These are signs of rising damp.
- Look at the corners near the roof after rain. Stains there mean water coming through from above.
- Tape a square of cling film, about 30cm by 30cm, tightly to the wall. Leave it for 24 to 48 hours. If moisture forms under the film, the wall is damp.
- If the wall is damp, fix the source first. That may mean repairing pipes, re-plastering or waterproofing the roof or outside wall. Then let the wall dry fully before covering it.
Covering a damp wall with panels or stickers hides the problem while it gets worse behind the surface. It is the most common reason for complaints about all three products, and it is avoidable.
What about load shedding, UPS units and LED lighting?
Plan any electrical work before you fit panels, not after. If you want LED strip lighting behind or above WPC panels, run the wiring first and decide whether it will be on your UPS or solar circuit.
A few points that matter in Pakistani homes:
- Keep panels and stickers away from UPS units, inverters and batteries. These get warm, and batteries need ventilation. Do not box them in behind a panel wall.
- LED strips are a small load. A short LED strip behind a TV wall uses little power, so many people put it on the UPS circuit. Ask your electrician to confirm this for your system.
- Leave access to sockets and switches. Cut clean openings in panels for every socket, switch and TV point. Your installer should mark these before cutting.
- Hide cables inside the wall where possible. WPC panels on battens leave space for conduit. Panels glued straight to the wall do not, so chase cables into the plaster first.
How are WPC panels installed, and how long does it take?
WPC panels are either glued straight onto a flat wall with construction adhesive, or fixed to wooden or aluminium battens with nails, screws or clips. A typical 12 ft feature wall takes a skilled installer about one day, sometimes two if battens and wiring are involved.
Here is the usual process for a glued installation on a sound, flat wall:
- Prepare the wall. Remove loose paint, fill cracks and clean off dust. The wall must be dry.
- Mark the layout. Mark socket and switch positions and draw a vertical line with a spirit level or laser. Do not trust the corner of the room to be straight.
- Acclimatise the panels. Unpack them and leave them in the room for about 24 hours so they settle to the room’s temperature.
- Cut the first panel. Cut to height, leaving a gap of a few millimetres top and bottom for expansion. A fine-tooth saw or a mitre saw gives clean edges.
- Apply adhesive. Run beads of panel adhesive down the back of the panel, following the adhesive maker’s instructions.
- Fix the first panel plumb. Press it to your level line. Everything else follows from this panel, so take your time.
- Continue across the wall. Interlock or butt each panel against the last, checking level every few panels.
- Cut around outlets. Measure and cut openings for switches and sockets.
- Finish the edges. Fit end trims or corner trims and seal where needed.
Use battens instead of glue if the wall is uneven, if you need to hide cables, or if you may want to remove the panels later without damaging the plaster.

How are UV marble sheets and wall stickers installed?
UV marble sheets are glued to a flat, clean, dry wall with panel adhesive, often with double-sided tape to hold them while the glue sets. Wall stickers are peeled and pressed onto a smooth, clean painted wall, working from the top down. A sticker takes one to three hours. A UV sheet wall usually takes half a day to a day.
UV marble sheet steps
- Check the wall is flat. Hold a long straight edge against it. Gaps of more than a few millimetres will show in the gloss.
- Cut the sheet to size. Keep the protective film on while cutting and fixing.
- Apply panel adhesive to the back in lines or dots, with double-sided tape at intervals to hold the sheet while the adhesive cures.
- Press the sheet into place, starting from one edge to push out air.
- Fit edge trims and seal the joints.
- Leave the adhesive to cure as the manufacturer says, usually at least a day, before removing the protective film.
Wall sticker steps
- Make sure paint is fully cured. On a freshly painted wall, wait at least two weeks, or longer if the paint label says so.
- Wipe the wall with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust and grease. Let it dry fully.
- Mark a level guide line with a pencil.
- Peel back the top 10 to 15cm of backing paper only.
- Align the top edge with your line and press it on.
- Work downwards, peeling the backing a little at a time and smoothing with a plastic squeegee or soft cloth from the centre outwards.
- Push any small bubbles to the edge. For stubborn ones, prick with a fine pin and press flat.
We have a separate wall sticker installation guide with video on our site if you want to see the process before you buy.
Should I hire an installer or do it myself?
Most people can fit wall stickers themselves. UV marble sheets are manageable for a confident DIYer on a small wall. WPC panels are best left to an experienced installer, especially on large walls, TV walls with wiring, or anything involving battens.
Installation labour in Pakistan is usually quoted either per square foot or as a fixed price per job, and it varies by city, the size of the job and the installer’s experience. We cannot give you a fixed rate because it depends on your wall. Get at least two written quotes, and make sure each one says:
- whether adhesive, battens, trims and end caps are included,
- whether wall preparation, such as filling cracks, is included,
- who is responsible for cutting around sockets and switches,
- how long the job will take,
- whether they will clean up and remove offcuts.
If you are a contractor or designer, you already know this, but it is worth writing into the client agreement that the wall must be checked for damp before material is ordered.
When are WPC panels, UV sheets or stickers not the right choice?
Do not use any of these products on a wall with active damp or seepage, inside a shower, directly behind a cooking stove, or outdoors in direct sun and rain unless the product page says it is suitable. In those places, fix the wall or use tiles, stone or proper exterior cladding instead.
Being clear about this saves you money and saves us both a complaint later. Here are the cases where we would steer you elsewhere:
- Walls with seepage or rising damp. Fix the water problem first. No wall covering solves it.
- Shower areas and wet bathroom walls. Tiles are still the right choice where water hits the wall every day.
- Directly behind stoves and cooking ranges. Heat and grease damage stickers, and panels near open flame are a fire risk. Use tiles or a proper backsplash.
- Exterior walls in full sun. Our panels and stickers are designed for interiors. Strong UV and rain outdoors will fade prints and break down adhesive. Exterior WPC cladding is a different product.
- Very uneven walls, for gloss products. UV sheets and stickers will show every bump. Use WPC panels on battens instead, or level the wall first.
- Areas with heavy knocks. Stickers can tear where trolleys, chairs or school bags hit the wall. Use UV sheets, WPC panels or a dado rail.
- If you want a whole house covered cheaply. For every wall in a house, good paint is still the most economical choice. Use panels and stickers for feature walls.
How do I check quality when my order arrives?
Open and inspect everything on the day it arrives, before any installer cuts or fixes it. Check the quantity, the design, the colour match between pieces, and look for cracks, chipped edges, scratches or creases.
Use this checklist:
- Count the pieces against your order confirmation.
- Check the design name and finish match what you ordered. Similar wood tones such as golden oak and honey cedar can look alike in a box.
- Lay WPC panels side by side in daylight and check the colour matches across all of them.
- Look along each panel for bowing, chipped tongue edges or broken grooves.
- Check UV sheets for cracked corners and deep scratches under the protective film.
- Unroll stickers carefully on a clean surface and check for creases, print faults or damage to the backing.
- Take photos of any problem straight away, with the packaging, and contact us before installing.
Once a product has been cut or stuck to a wall, it is much harder to sort out a problem. Five minutes of checking protects you.
How do I look after these products once they are installed?
Dust weekly with a dry microfibre cloth and wipe marks with a soft cloth dampened with water and a drop of mild soap. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach, acetone and strong solvent cleaners on all three products.
A few product-specific points:
- WPC panels: use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum to clear dust from the grooves. Karachi dust settles in fluted panels quickly, especially near windows. Our WPC panel cleaning and care guide covers this in detail.
- UV marble sheets: always wipe grit off before rubbing. Dragging dust across a gloss surface causes fine scratches.
- Stickers: press lifted edges back down straight away. If an edge keeps lifting, a small amount of clear adhesive suitable for PVC will hold it. Do not pull at it.
How long each product lasts depends on the wall, the room and the care it gets. WPC panels are the longest-lasting of the three when fitted properly on a dry wall. We explain what affects their lifespan in our WPC wall panel lifespan article.
Can contractors, designers and shopkeepers buy in bulk during the sale?
Yes, you can order larger quantities during the sale. If you are fitting out several rooms, a whole office or a commercial space, contact us before ordering to confirm stock of your chosen designs and to ask about any bulk pricing.
For trade buyers, the sale is a good time to:
- Lock in material for upcoming jobs at a lower cost, if you have somewhere dry and flat to store it. Store WPC panels flat, off the floor and out of direct sun.
- Order sample pieces to show clients a real finish rather than a screen photo. Colours on phones and laptops vary.
- Standardise a few designs across your projects so you always know what the finish looks like and how it installs.
- Buy from one batch for any single project, so every panel matches.
If you supply a job in Lahore, Islamabad or another city, message us to confirm delivery options and timelines to that location before you commit to a client deadline.
How do I order during the sale?
Browse the Sky Build Mart shop, add products to your cart and check out on the website. If you are unsure about quantities, sizes or which design suits your wall, send us your wall measurements and a photo on WhatsApp or through our contact page before you order.
To get the fastest useful answer, send us:
- the wall width and height in feet or millimetres,
- a straight-on photo of the wall in daylight,
- the room it is in, such as TV lounge, bedroom or shop,
- your city, and
- the design or category you are considering.
With that, we can tell you how many pieces you need and flag anything that might cause a problem, such as damp or an uneven wall, before you spend money.
Is it worth buying now, or should I wait?
If you have a room ready to finish in the next few months and your wall is dry, buying in the sale makes sense. If your wall has damp, your plastering is not done, or you have not decided on a design, wait until those are sorted, even if it means paying a little more later.
A discount on the wrong product is not a saving. Here is a simple rule:
- Buy now if you know the wall, you have measured it, and you have chosen a design you have seen in real room photos.
- Buy now if you are a contractor with confirmed upcoming work and dry storage.
- Wait if there is any sign of damp, if construction work is still going on in the room, or if you are choosing between three very different looks.
Also think about timing the fit. In Karachi, the months after the monsoon, from October onwards, are a practical time to install, because walls that took on water in the rains have had time to dry out. Panels and stickers also bond best when the wall and room are not at their most humid.
Quick sale shopping checklist
Before you pay, run through this list. It takes five minutes and prevents most problems.
- I have checked the wall for damp, including the cling film test.
- I have measured the wall width at three heights and used the largest figure.
- I have checked the panel or sheet width on the product page and done the calculation.
- I have added 5 to 10 percent for wastage, and one spare for later repairs.
- I have chosen one main feature material for the room, not three.
- I have planned wiring, sockets and LED lighting before installation.
- I have a written installation quote that says what is included.
- I have checked the current price on the product page.
- I will inspect every piece on delivery before anything is cut.
If you have ticked every line, you are ready. Start with the product that fits your wall: WPC wall panels for depth and long life, UV marble sheets for a polished marble finish, or wall stickers for a quick, low-cost change. Prices change and sale prices will not last, so check the product page for the current rate and message us with your wall measurements if you want help getting the quantity right.
Frequently asked questions
What products are included in the Sky Build Mart Big Sale?
The sale covers WPC wall panels in 17mm, 24mm and curved profiles, UV marble sheets, and marble, metal, golden foil, soft stone and grill wall stickers. Discounts vary by design, so check each product page for the current price.
How many WPC panels do I need for a 12 ft wall?
Divide the wall width by the panel width and add 5 to 10 percent for cutting. A 12 ft wall is about 3,658mm wide, so with 168mm panels you need 22 panels plus one or two spare, around 23 to 24 in total. Sky Build Mart WPC panels are 9.5 ft long, so one panel covers most wall heights.
What is the difference between marble wall stickers and UV marble sheets?
Marble wall stickers are thin self-adhesive film applied to a painted wall. UV marble sheets are rigid PVC-based sheets, usually around 3mm thick, glued to the wall. Stickers are cheaper and quicker to fit. UV sheets are harder wearing, easier to clean and look closer to real marble.
Can I install WPC panels or wall stickers on a damp wall?
No. Fix the source of damp or seepage first and let the wall dry fully. Covering a damp wall hides the problem while it gets worse, and adhesives on stickers and sheets fail on damp surfaces.
Should I choose 17mm or 24mm WPC wall panels?
Choose 24mm panels for deeper shadow lines on TV and feature walls, and for hiding uneven plaster. Choose 17mm panels for a slimmer profile in smaller rooms, corridors and bedrooms, or where furniture stands close to the wall.
Are grill wall stickers the same as WPC slat panels?
No. Grill wall stickers are flat printed PVC film that gives a slatted look from the front at lower cost. WPC panels have real grooves that create shadows, especially with LED strip lighting, and last longer.
